Workshop- Saturday November 14th
Design Your Own Silver Ring — A Jewellery-Making Experience
Join us for an intimate, hands-on jewellery workshop where you'll design and carve your own unique ring in jeweller's wax, guided by an experienced jeweller with seven years of workshop teaching experience.
Working with wax, you'll explore shape, texture and form to create a ring that's entirely your own. Whether you're drawn to sculptural forms, organic textures or something more understated, you'll have the freedom to develop a design that reflects your personal style.
Once your design is complete, I'll take care of the professional casting, stone setting and finishing, transforming your wax creation into a wearable piece of sterling silver jewellery.
What's included
A two-hour guided jewellery design and wax-carving workshop.
Use of tools and wax, with guidance throughout the design process.
One selected gemstone per design, chosen from a curated selection of stones suitable for your design.
Professional casting, stone setting and finishing by me.
Drinks and a selection of grazing refreshments to enjoy during the experience.
Workshop ticket: $325 per person
Hosted at the Also Known As Atelier, 74 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley

Additional stones. extra heavy pieces and premium gemstones will incur extra charges, which will be discussed with you before proceeding.
Your workshop ticket covers the creative experience, tuition, included gemstone and the professional work required to bring your design to life. The additional silver charge covers the material needed to create your finished piece.
You'll leave having designed something uniquely yours, with a finished sterling silver ring handcrafted from your original wax design.

Bring Your Creativity: I encourage you to come with your own unique ideas for what you'd like to create—it's the best way to make something truly personal and special. While you're welcome to be inspired by my designs, please avoid copying them exactly. And a quick practical tip: if you wear glasses, don’t forget to bring them along!
Friendly Reminder: This workshop is a fun, hands-on experience focused on designing your own unique piece of jewellery. While we love creativity, please note that this session is not intended as an educational course for aspiring jewellery artists. I kindly ask that you refrain from seeking industry advice, supplier contacts, or technical techniques, as the focus will remain on the creative process of this workshop. Thank you for your understanding!
